Q: How much developer vs how much powder? I mean does it not matter as long as there are equal parts, or should they both be an exact certain amount of each??? Also any good damage control things I should use?

A: Each lightener has their own developer to lightener ratio. This ratio is usually expressed in ounces. Follow the instructions of your lightener of choice so that your mixture will lighten you hair correctly.
*Caution with lifting your hair color, if you are going several levels above to your natural hair color, this may cause damage to your hair. If you need to use a lightener on your hair more than once to get a desired result, space out the days that you are lightening your hair. Intense, hi lift back to back treatments are not recommended.
As far as damage control, you will want to follow up with deep conditioning treatments after lifting your hair color. We carry treatments designed specifically for customers who lighten their hair frequently. you can find these in the Deep Conditioner section of the website under Hair Care and Conditioner.

A: Yes, just condition well before and after. Then I use Nexus Hydro Light and wash every other day. I also have short hair and get it cut right after. But, even if you don't (which I haven't from time to time), you'll be fine. Try Cantu Conditioner, put on a shower cap and put a ter shirt over your hair overnight, it will be perfect the next morning. Important fully was, 2 times, after bleaching to get all the bleach h out. If not, that can make it feel dry and stiff. Very easy to use. If you haven't bleached before, my hair dresser told me to add a package of Sweet and Low, helps for scalp tenderness, and stay in a warm place e while the bleach is on, not dryer or blow dryer, but if you are in a room that has a cool temperature I it takes longer to develop and your roots, if you have dark hair might (mine did once) be a bit yellow.

Q: I ordered the Flare Me Dark (plum away with me) and it said to mix with pure white 30vol developer cream. It says mix 1 part of each?? I'm not sure how much that is.

A: That means you mix equal parts of each. For example; Mix 2oz. of color to 2oz. of developer. Equal amounts of both ingredients should be mixed together.
