Items Purchased Online
Return to store location: We'll gladly accept returns for any products purchased online, up to 60 days from purchase, to U.S. and Canada Sally Beauty Supply store locations. However, items purchased online that are available for purchase online only must be returned to our warehouse and CANNOT be returned in-store.
- You will need the packing list that came with your order and the credit card used to make the purchase.
- Shipping will be refunded only if the item was shipped incorrectly, damaged or defective and it is the only item on the order.
- Item must be returned in original condition and in original packaging including any paperwork, manuals or accessories. Items that are returned defaced or damaged will not be eligible for a refund or return.
- Restrictions apply to the return of equipment or furniture items.
Return to eCommerce warehouse: Items purchased on SallyBeauty.com can also be returned within 60 days of purchase, to the SallyBeauty.com fulfillment center. Items can not be exchanged. Original item must be returned and new order placed. You can not return merchandise purchased in a Sally Beauty Store to the warehouse. Merchandise shipped to the fulfillment center not purchased online cannot be returned to sender and sender will not be issued a refund or credit.
- Item must be returned in original condition and in original packaging including any paperwork, manuals or accessories. Items that are returned defaced or damaged will not be eligible for a refund.
- We cannot accept COD’s for returned merchandise.
- In the case of shipping damages please contact the carrier or our customer service department.
- Credit will always be issued to the same card to which they were charged.
- Do not return items to SallyBeauty.com by Air Mail – The U.S. Department of Transportation restricts air shipment of hazardous materials items that could contribute to a fire or other mishap on board an aircraft.
- Original shipping fees will be refunded only if the item was shipped incorrectly, damaged or defective and it is the only item on the order.
- Due to health and hygiene concerns, no exchanges on hair extensions can be accepted for any reason.
- You can return the item to the SallyBeauty.com fulfillment center using any method you choose or you can click on the UPS link below and create a label for return. The cost of the shipping will be covered if the item is damaged, shipped incorrectly or defective. Otherwise, the cost of the return shipping will be deducted from your refund. We suggest shipping all returns using a traceable delivery method as we are unable to refund or replace without proof of delivery.

Returning Salon Furniture/Equipment Purchased Online
- There is a 20% restocking fee on all returned furniture or equipment merchandise.
- Equipment returns require authorization - call 1-800-444-7712 for more information.
- If a return is authorized, the invoice and the original packaging (that the order arrived in) are required to ship the merchandise back.
- For health and safety reasons, special restrictions apply on some items, such as foot spas, skincare equipment, etc.

- Example: Purchase a blowdryer and get an item free—the free item will not be refunded for any reason. In addition, if the purchased item—in this example the blowdryer—is returned for a refund, the free must be returned as well.

Sally Beauty Supply Store Purchases in the United States
In general, we will happily accept returned merchandise purchased at any of our United States store locations regardless of which store actually sold the item(s).
Except for Special Restrictions stated below, you must have an original receipt dated within 60 days of purchase for a refund or exchange. All refunds will be made to the original form of payment.
- After 60 days or without a receipt, you will be offered an in-store merchandise credit in the form of a Merchandise Return Gift Card, for the lowest selling price of the item(s) returned within the past 60 days before return. Any return without receipt over $250.00 may be subject to prior approval before a refund is given.
- All customers must provide a daytime phone number.
- When issuing a refund, the refund must be in the same form as the original form of payment: Cash, credit to the same credit card, or gift card.
- There are special return restrictions on electrical items, shears, hair, clipper blades, body jewelry, ear piercing and piercing implements, promotional items, free items, and equipment. See below for more details.

- Return shipping costs are at the expense of the customer.

- Not returnable or refundable for cash, except in states where required by law.
- Not replaceable if lost or stolen.
