For spiral curls: start rolling at the end of the hair and do not overlap the hair as you roll. If the ends of the hair are not adhering to the roller, slightly dampen the ends or use an end wrap to secure flyaway hair.
For tight spiral curls: take smaller sections and roll tightly.
For loose spiral curls: take larger sections and roll loosely around the rollers. On longer hair lengths, and to ensure longer lasting curls, sleep in them overnight. For short to medium hair lengths, roll the hair as you would on a conventional roller for volume and lift. Always pull hair tightly as you roll to ensure the roller won't slip out. End wraps can also be used to secure loose ends. Always start at the top of the head and roll the top section away from the front hairline. Once you have a row on top of the head you can interlock the sides to these top rollers if desired.
For maximum lift: interlock rollers.
