BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

• Lay a towel down on designated work station. 
• Gather the additional tools: Mirror in front of you:
  • At least 4 pre-cut aluminum foils (approximately 12 inches x 5 inches per foil)
  • A detangling brush, at least 4 sectioning clips and hair ties
  • A coloring shirt or smock that you don't mind getting stained
• Remove any jewelry on neck, wrists and fingers.
• Section the hair for desired technique, as instructed below. Then, put on the gloves included in the box. 

DIP DYE TECHNIQUE: 

STEP 1: SECTIONING

• Separate hair into two equal sections by creating a center part line.
• Determine where the DIP DYE section should begin.
  • SHORT HAIR: Place dye 2 inches from ends of hair.
  • MEDIUM TO LONG HAIR: Place dye 4 inches from ends of hair.
• Secure each section with a hair tie, placing it where the DIP DYE will begin.
• Brush through to remove tangles. 

STEP 2: APPLICATION

• Start with one side and apply product to hair with hands, thoroughly saturating the section.
  • Remember: don't get this on your scalp or skin!
  • TIP: for a softer color transition, remove hair tie and use application tool to brush product up to blend.
• Sandwich the section between two sheets of foil. Fold or scrunch to keep in place.
• Repeat on the opposite side.
• Process according to instructions in the next section. 

MONEY PIECE TECHNIQUE:

STEP 1: SECTIONING

• Separate face framing MONEY PIECES into two equal sections. Tie remaining hair toward the back of the head.
• Brush through to remove tangles
• Clip each MONEY PIECE section up and away from the face. 

STEP 2: APPLICATION

• Pick one side to begin. Using the tail end of the APPLICATION TOOL, separate a thin 1/8th inch slice from bottom of the section.
• Place foil underneath hair and apply product to the section, starting 1/4th inch from the scalp. Remember: don't get this on your scalp or skin!
• Paint downward and evenly so that hair is fully saturated. Don't forget the underside of each section!
• Separate another 1/8th inch slice of hair, lay it on top of the previous section, and repeat application.
• Continue until you complete the entire side.
• To secure foils, lay a new sheet of foil onto the saturated hair section to create a sandwich. Fold down the middle vertically, then fold up horizontally. Alternatively, you can scrunch away from the face. Just be sure the bleached hair is not exposed to the air.
• Repeat on the opposite side.
• Process according to instructions in the next section. 

PEEK-A-BOO TECHNIQUE:
STEP 1: SECTIONING

• Separate 1 inch wide PEEK-A-BOO sections near the nape of the neck, on left and right sides. Tie remaining hair toward the back of the head.
• Brush through to remove tangles.
• Clip each PEEK-A-BOO section up or sweep behind the shoulder. 

STEP 2: APPLICATION

• Pick one side to begin. Using the tail end of the APPLICATION TOOL, separate a thin 1/8th inch slice from bottom of the section.
• Place foil underneath hair and apply product to the section, starting 1/4th inch from the scalp. Remember: don't get this on your scalp or skin!
• Paint downward and evenly so that hair is fully saturated. Don't forget the underside of each section!
• Separate another 1/8th inch slice of hair, lay it on top of the previous section, and repeat application.
• Continue until you complete the entire side.
• To secure foils, lay a new sheet of foil onto the saturated hair section to create a sandwich. Fold down the middle vertically, then fold up horizontally. Alternatively, you can scrunch away from the face. Just be sure the bleached hair is not exposed to the air.
• Repeat on the opposite side.
• Process according to instructions in the next section. 

POST APPLICATION:

• Allow to process for 45 minutes.
• Remove foils gently, then rinse with warm water, avoiding contact with the eyes.
• Follow with IGK PAY DAY INSTANT REPAIR SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER. - Gently towel dry hair, and apply IGK CASH IN INSTANT REPAIR SERUM, focusing on the newly colored portions.
• Follow with your favorite IGK styling products. Dry and style as desired.
